Because annuities...
... don't always allow you to move as much of your client's money into an annuity as they want. That means that you have to find somewhere else to put that money. You're not likely to recommend the money go in the bank due to low returns. You certainly don't want to have to send your client to another advisor. SOURCE OF FUNDS
